Have you ever wondered why you have no pain even though your MRI showed a large disc or bone spur on your MRI's? Luckily, our spinal cord and nerves are encased in a tube of water call the dural tube (dural sac, another name) that allows our nerve tissues to float away from the herniation or bone spur.

I am scheduled to have this procedure done in 2 weeks. I am a little perturbed by this guy describing the procedure as ineffective for back pain given that is my chief complaint, but my doctor did say another surgery might be necessary so this not totally inconsistent with what I have been told and everyone is different. The comments are definitely reassuring.

I’ve been wearing a back brace for 4 years now. I wear it EVERY SINGLE DAY, I feel my condition isn’t improving, and now I feel depended on it. I think it’s fine for a few months after injury, but not long term, it can cause muscles to be weaken since they don’t have to work much anymore with the brace.

Just been through a nightmare. Pain in the upper back and shoulders, numbness, and the MRI scan showed a bulged cervical disc. A surgeon told me scary things about the need for a very invasive surgery and only negative things about physiotherapy and body's capability to heal. I rejected the idea and went to physiotherapy. There's only a few days since I started with the therapeutic procedures. I feel slightly better but some pain and numbness persist. Found very little room for hope on the Internet. This is an exception.

It has changed my life already. As of right now I am, not to go back to work for 6 weeks due to heavy lifting. Financially this is going to be an issue.

Compression on my l3 and fracture on 15,after 3 weeks it i can walk but with minimum step, with my hsy lso brace,it helps me move with very² little to no pain, of course my torso movements would be limited, but for my own benefit it help to straighten my back,im not doing the surgery,im letting it heal by itself,im consider myself as speedy recovery, but the brace will stay on my back for a long time,i will not go anywhere without it for 2-4 years from now 😊 .. it helps, really help ..

Dear Doctor, I am experiencing the following symptoms: - Pain in the lower back, specifically on the left side near the sacrum and hip area - This pain only occurs when the i am sitting, but goes away with movement and walking - The pain also comes when bending or leaning forward - The pain in the lower left back area is very bothersome and uncomfortable - i have no other symptoms like numbness, weakness, or anything else besides this pain - i am medical student and i spend a lot of time sitting for studying - i went to doctor who prescribed anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants, but the pain has not subsided - The doctor has recommended an MRI scan to check for a possible disc herniation, but the i doubt this is the cause since there are no other neurological symptoms Please advise me what i should to do to relive this pain when i sitting because i want study for my exam 😢😢😢

I counted months, did not go surgery but I got the most painful months. I took ALAnerve, MethylB12, Glutaplus from Gr8life with astaxanthin and aronia berry, and apple cider gummies. Took ibuprofen and paracetamol if can't tolerate. It healed after 17 months. The last flare up with so much pain, I took a rest straight for 4 days. Then had to travel by boat. Would it be the boat contributed to the decompression? The gravity. No more right jeans as well. Always wear dress and square pants for blood circulation. Always have lumbar belt when travelling. It's already a month that everything turned back to normal. No more numbness. No more pain. I had PT for three months as well. Prayer. Prayer is powerful, too. Faith. Thank, Doc for this video. I really watched it many times. (Disclaimer: This is just based on my experience on the journey of healing. Always seek medical advice)

It's not confirmed, but it's suspected I have a herniated disc. I've had this pain since I was 19, and I'm 21 now. The pain persists, it hasn't gotten worse. I'm not sure what I can do. I just went to a chiropractor and blew $125 on some stupid massage gun therapy session that did nothing, and the doctor barely spoke to me and offered vague suggestions as to what I could do (yoga and stretches.) he did repeat that I should come back again several times though, and offered muscle relaxers. He said it was really tight, but I will just buy my own massage gun if it actually does anything.
